If you're using ShiftWiz standalone, employees just open the app in their browser. It works on any device, no app store download needed (it's a PWA). If you're using the extension mode with Sling or Toast, only the manager needs the Chrome extension. Employees don't install anything.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed with bcrypt, and sessions use signed JWTs with automatic expiry. Your data is never sold, and ShiftWiz never accesses your Sling or Toast credentials. The extension reads scheduling data from the page, it never touches your login.
